A four-day glorious celebration of fine food and drink in Dublin’s Iveagh Garden

I spent a glorious Friday afternoon at the Taste of Dublin Festival last June in Dublin Castle. All the fine food and wine you could drink on a glorious summer’s day in fine surroundings... what more could a foodie lover ask for? I was in heaven!
I sampled food from Dublin’s finest restaurants: Chapter One, Bang Café, Diep Le Shaker, L’Ecrivain, Peploes Wine Bistro & Rhodes D7. Participating restaurants selected 3 of their signature dishes to be enjoyed for as little as €5.
I watched cooking demonstrations by Antony Worrall Thomspon. Other chefs who demonstrated were Rachel Allen, Richard Corrigan, Dorina Allen to name a few.
I topped this off with a Champagne tasting session at the end of the afternoon..
This year the event takes place in the Iveagh Gardens from June 14th-17th. 22 restaurants will be exhibiting this year.
With live music, delicious food, champagne, wine and impeccable organisation, this festival is a must for anyone who enjoys good food!
