My wife invited me to the Aghahdoe for my 30th birthday. I first wasn’t impressed by the look of the building. It’s very modern and look out of place.Once inside, our room was looking down the Killarney lakes. The view was astonishing, mountains, lakes and old stones. The room was the best I ever stayed in, big bed, latest B&O TV and music, marble bathroom ...just perfect. We went down to the Spaaaa as they call it. There are different hamams and saunas all with their unique flavors (lavender, eucalyptus...) and this was the highlight of the break.We did not feel like going to town after that so we booked in the restaurant. It was way overrated and too expensive, pub food in nicer plates!Overall a great experience, can’t comment on price as this was a present but will go back for a package below €200 for 2 B&B.
