Why is Guy Ritchie allowed to make movies?

An incompetent Tarantino wannabe makes another dog of a movie.

I knew it was going to be bad but I still watched it to the end. Yet another Guy Ritchie gangster movie starring Jason Statham.

This time it’s not even clear where it is set. It looks like Vegas and the cars are American but most of the actors have English accents!!

Guy desperately wants to be taken seriously like Tarantino and does this by ripping him straight off. Black suits, cool 70′s cars, anime sequences, highly stylised cinematography but it just comes across as an unholy mish-mash.

For the first half it is a reasonably standard gangster revenge movie but with plenty of twists - half of which make no sense. Then it degenerates into some sort of nonsensical psychological “who am I”, “am I sane”, “who is the voice in my head” surreal mess.

This gets worse and worse until the final scene happens, the movie ends and you shout “they cannot be serious”. Did they just run out of film or something?

If you don’t guess the main twist ten minutes into the movie it’s probably because you don’t care.

Another two hours of my life wasted by that fool. Never again.
