Super hotel that I will use again
I stayed in the Ramada for the second Irish BarCamp. Whilst the standard rate of €79 (not including breakfast) was quite high, the ebookers.ie B&B rate of €53 was excellent.
The hotel is not in a salubrious location being between several garages at the Butlerstown Roundabout but inside is lovely and I was very surprised by the massive room.
It’s very new so everything was working perfectly. The staff were friendly and the bar very nice - with a good house Sauvignon Blanc.
Breakfast had all the usual options with the only downside being that it doesn’t open until 8am on Sundays. They let me in earlier and allowed me to grab anything that was already laid out.
I couldn’t get an internet connection which was a pain but I wasn’t bothered contacting reception to sort it out.
All in all, highly recommended if you need a hotel in Waterford.
