Two great catchy tunes do not a great album make, alas.
Review of product: The Magic Numbers - “Those the brokes”

I bought this album a few weeks ago after hearing “Take a chance” on the radio. I love this song, its full of energy, guitars, harmonies, puts me in a good humour when I hear it.
Alas, despite my hopes, with the exception of the first track “This is a song”, which I like too, the rest of the album definitely doesn’t live up to this promise. I feel it just degenerates into one similiar nondescript tune after another.
Despite having listened to it a fair few times, no other track stands out unfortunately.
